Abstract
Most diseases are the result of multi causes, therefore sometimes the actual etiology (the causes of diseases or pathologies) of disease is difficult to determine. To solve the problem of multi causes-diagnosis in mental health illnesses, alignment of lifestory method and electronic medical record system as a medical diagnostic support tool (DST) is proposed. Mental health diseases are often chronic diseases with exacerbation that often result in a shortened life expectancy. We have explored the life stories and aligned with the electronic medical record of patients to ascertain comorbidity, prevalence, and prognosis of mental health among patients with common medical conditions as well as the effect of mental illness on the outcomes of patients in primary care. Th is study is pursued with three objectives related to diagnosing mental health disorders: (1) Identifying the correlation between medical evidence and time period, longitudinal studies have reported mixed results regarding the temporal association between illnesses and the emergence of disease. (2) Finding evidence and using that evidence to make clinical decisions (3) Alignment of life-story and electronic medical record as a medical diagnostic support tool (DST), as a resource to inform and assist clinicians who care for different patients.
